Objective To study the effect of continuous nursing intervention on the quality of life, satisfaction and re-admission rate of elders discharged from hospital. Methods A total of 92 elderly patients who were discharged from hospital were selected from two tertiary level hospitals in Wuhan. They were randomly divided into two groups, 46 in the control group and 46 in the experimental group. Randomized general outpatient care, On the basis of this, the experimental group added individualized continuous nursing interventions in the form of phone follow-up on the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 6th month after discharge according to the rehabilitation of the elderly. On the discharge day and after 2,6 The overall quality of life questionnaire (QOL-BREF) and nursing job satisfaction questionnaire were used to evaluate the overall assessment. Finally, t-test and χ ~ 2 test were used to analyze the results. Results The quality of life (t = -1.199, P = 0.234), nursing satisfaction rating (t = 0.803, P = 0.424) and readmission rate (0,0) There was no significant difference in these indexes between the two months (t = -1.695, P = 0.100; t = -0.143, P = 0.887; t = 3.079, P = 0.079) The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (t = -6.893, P = 0.000; t = -3.499, P = 0.001; t = 7.397, P = 0.007) . Conclusion Continuous nursing can effectively improve the quality of life of elderly patients after discharge, reduce the re-admission rate of patients, reduce the use of medical resources, and improve patient satisfaction with nursing work, worthy of clinical promotion.
