In recent years, there have been a large number of deaths of clam in the climax area in successive years. In August-September 1989 alone, more than 6,000 tons of dead were killed, severely affecting the cultivation of clams in the area. From 1989 to 1990, we investigated the cause of death and field investigation in the sea area. The results showed that the main reason for the death of clam in high tide area was poor environmental conditions.
