3G即第三代移动通信技术,是以数字通信技术为核心的一个十分庞大、复杂的技术体系和技术集群。谁能在3G方面领先于世界,就能在通信产业、信息产业等国民经济的支柱产业和先导产业方面领先于世界。目前世界上存在TD-SCDMA、CAMA2000及WCDMA3大技术制式,彼此之间的竞争不仅关乎有关企业的命运,而且关乎国家根本利益。因此,我国必须把具有自主知识产权的TD-SCDMA置于优先发展的地位,给予大力扶持。
3G, the third generation mobile communication technology, is a very large and complex technology system and technology cluster based on digital communication technology. Who can lead the world in terms of 3G, will be able to lead the world in the pillar industries and leading industries of the national economy such as telecommunications industry and information industry. At present, TD-SCDMA, CAMA2000 and WCDMA3 are the major technological systems in the world. The competition among them is not only related to the fate of the enterprises concerned, but also to the fundamental national interests. Therefore, our country must give priority to the development of TD-SCDMA with independent intellectual property rights and give strong support.
