After nearly three decades of development, American Miao English literature, which sprouted in the early 1990s, has gradually moved from desolation to prosperity. American Miao writers attempt to break the destiny of their own nation being silenced and expressed through the trauma of individuals and ethnic groups. Based on the relationship between trauma and narration, this paper analyzes the traumatic writing of Miao writers in the United States in order to understand and understand this group of writers who occupy a unique position in contemporary American literary minority. It also confirms the importance of the creation of literary works in the recovery of individual traumatic experiences and in the identity construction of ethnic groups.
