ISO 9000:2000《质量管理体系一基础术语》对产品的定义,是“一组将输人转化为输出的相互关联或相互作用的活动”的结果,即“过程”的结果。产品的类别有4种:硬件、软件、服务、流动性材料,硬件和流动性材料是有形产品,而服务和软件是无形产品。在经济领域中,其产品通常也可理解为组织制造的任何制品或制品的组合,如电脑就其本身是有形产品,而其操作软件为无形产品,是两种类别的组合。
