Please allow me to extend my heart-felt congratulation to the seminar of the European Community of China on the outstanding work it has done in your country’s academic community. The study will function as a conveyor belt-like link, and as such we will be here today to discuss the issue of European integration. Various reports produced at this symposium analyzed the current status of the community and the prospects for the development of the internal market in 1992, the strengthening of the European monetary system to further establish a monetary union and so on.
