由于不同社会及其语言文化等因素的差异会导致翻译的缺失,因此在文学作品的翻译过程中,翻译补偿是尽可能再现原文韵味的必要手段。对于翻译补偿类型的研究有助于从各个层面认识翻译补偿,也是系统化研究翻译补偿的重要环节。本文在综述前人对于翻译补偿类型的归类研究之上,再加以分析莫言小说《红高粱》的英译本中所体现的翻译补偿类型:文化补偿,语法补偿和语义补偿。
Due to the differences of different social and linguistic and cultural factors, the lack of translation will lead to the translation compensation in the process of translation of literary works as an essential means to reproduce the original flavor as much as possible. The research on the types of translation compensation helps to understand translation compensation at all levels and is also an important part of systematically studying translation compensation. This article reviews the previous studies on the classification of translation compensation types, and then analyzes the types of translation compensation embodied in English versions of Mo Yan’s novel Red Sorghum: cultural compensation, grammatical compensation and semantic compensation.
