英语自主阅读能力培养在人才的形成中具有非常大的促进作用,特别是对医学院校英语专业的学生作用更加明显。目前,我国的医学院校英语专业的学生在课外英语学习方面,特别是自主阅读能力培养方面还面临很多问题和困难。教师对学生的课外自主阅读能力培养方面认识不够、引导不足,学生自身对自主阅读能力兴趣不浓、努力不够等都是现在我国医学院英语专业学生在课外英语自主能力培养方面存在的问题。针对这些问题,加强对学生自主阅读能力的培养力度,采取必要有效的可行措施,促进学生的英语水平的提高,对于对英语专业学生的自身素质也有一定的提高,而且在一定程度上也利于提高我国的医学科学水平。
The cultivation of English self-reading ability plays a very significant role in the formation of talents, especially for English majors in medical schools. At present, English majors in medical colleges and universities in our country also face many problems and difficulties in extra-curricular English learning, especially in the cultivation of independent reading ability. Teachers lack of understanding about the students ’self-read ability of reading after class, lack of guidance, students’ lack of interest in independent reading ability, and lack of effort are the problems that English majors in our country now have in cultivating their autonomous competence in extracurricular English. In response to these problems, it is necessary to strengthen the cultivation of students’ ability to read independently, to take the necessary and feasible measures to promote the improvement of students’ English proficiency, and to some extent, improve their English majors’ qualities as well as to some extent China’s medical science level.
