高校研究生教育不仅要培养大批高素质的科技知识人才,更要造就政治立场坚定、忠于党和人民的共产主义事业接班人。2012年,习近平同志先后在北大、清华等高校进行加强和改进高校党建工作的调研并指出“高校要努力构建充满活力、覆盖面广的基层党组织体系,积极探索有实效、受欢迎的组织活动方式,不断加强党支部的战斗力和凝聚力”。研究生党支部作为高校基层党组织的重要组成部分,肩负着对研究生群体的政治培养和思想教育的关键作用,科学构建研究生党组织的体系和形式,重视其建设和管理具有十分重要的意义。
