开设英语选修课符合学生自身发展,社会形势发展以及教学和教师发展需要,能保证学生英语语言水平稳步提高,满足学生各自不同的专业发展要求。近年来,四川大学、南京大学等已陆续开出供非英语专业大学生选修的英语公选课。目前开设的英语选修课主要有口语,文学,文化,影视欣赏,实用阅读、写作、翻译等。笔者认为,由于我国的外语教学长期以来十分重视目的语文化导入而轻忽了以外
