INTRODUCTION From the initial use of radars to the present, radar operators have used the visual signals on Planar Position Displays (PPIs) and A-type displays to find and track targets. Although operators can accomplish these tasks with great accuracy, they can not observe many goals simultaneously and are subject to fatigue. In order to change this situation, in many radars, automatic detection and tracking (ADT) systems are being used. Undoubtedly, with the increasing speed of digital processing and the declining hardware price and size, almost all radars use an automatic detection and tracking system with the exception of the simplest radar.
