在工厂物流系统中,储运是极重要的一环。国外对工厂储运极为重视,把它作为主要专业来对待,在工厂设计、生产管理等方面,储运占有极其重要的地位。我国在这方面起步较晚,目前也越来越受到重视,从事工厂储运的专业人员也越来越多。储运器具是工厂储运中的一个主要组成部分,它对保护产品质量、提高运输效率有着重要的作用。目前国外储运器具已发展成14大类。国内一些大型工厂在设计和使用储运器具方面也取得较大的成绩,据不完全统计,第二气车制造厂1985年底已拥有储运器具7类、676种、18万多件;湘潭电机厂1979年底拥有7类、135种、1万3千多件。越来越多的工厂也开始重视并使用储运器具。本文着重介绍笔者多年从事物流工作在储运方面的一些经验和体会,谈一下设计储运器具的原则和方法。
