东初遗址位于胶东半岛北岸,行政区划属于荣成市埠柳镇北兰格村[1]。遗址中共出土动物遗存430件,其中软体动物388件,脊椎动物42件。这些遗存的时代属于北辛文化晚期至大汶口文化早期。我们在鉴定过程中主要参考了山东大学考古学系动物考古实验室的现生动物标本,同时也参考了部分文献[2],并对保存完好的软体动物贝壳进行了详细的测量和记录。
The site of the east beginning is located on the north bank of Jiaodong Peninsula, and the administrative division belonged to Beilangge Village, Buailiu Town, Rongcheng City [1]. The site unearthed animal remains 430, of which 388 molluscs, 42 vertebrates. The era of these remains belongs to the early culture of Dawenkou in the late period of North Xin culture. In the appraisal process, we mainly refer to the living animal specimens of the Archeology Department of Archeology Department of Shandong University as well as some references [2]. We also measured and recorded the well-preserved shells of molluscs.
