《神话研究》(Arbeit am Muthos)是德国古典学家和思想史家布鲁门伯格(Hans Blumenberg,1920—1996)于二十世纪七十年代发表的代表作之一,汉译本由上海世纪集团在2012年和2014年分期推出。布氏著述卷轶浩繁,鸿篇巨制,且脉络驳杂,思致诡异,意蕴隐微,读起来费劲,译过来朦胧。面对两大卷印行的近七十万汉字的煌煌大著,难怪读者在网上和报刊杂志上不住地抱怨译者责任亏缺,连个译者序言也不提供。其实,当时的译者、现在的笔者不是没有意识到读者的苦衷,但同时也请读者容许译者
Arbeit am Muthos is one of the masterpieces published by the German classical thinker and thought historian Hans Blumenberg (1920-1996) in the 1970s. The Chinese translation was published by Shanghai Century Group in 2012 and 2014 installments. Brigitte’s writings Volume Yi voluminous, Hong Yu giant system, and the context complex, thought strange, hidden subtle, read strenuous, translated hazy. In the face of the great volume of nearly 700,000 Chinese characters in the two volumes, it is no wonder that readers complain about the translator’s liability deficit on the Internet and in newspapers and magazines, and do not even provide a translator’s preamble.
