Jointly run schools is one of the effective measures for local governments to promote the balanced development of compulsory education. This paper reviews the research on the connotation, purpose, content, practice mode and existing problems of primary and secondary schools at home and abroad, and finds that there is not enough depth, inadequate perspective, single method and speculative research in the present study. Research; think that the research object can be extended to rural schools, the scope can be extended to the old revolutionary base areas, the method can be expanded to empirical research.
