为了切实保证新发展党员的质量,保持党组织的先进性和纯洁性,提高党的战斗力,我们盐城工学院于去年上半年开始推行了在发展党员工作中实行公示制的新举措。即在发展党员工作中,各党总支(支部)将发展对象的有关情况通过组织程序在一定范围内公开,广泛听取各方面对发展对象的反映,依据各方面的意见和群众公认的情况再决定是否发展其入党。公示制的实施,把坚持党员标准与坚持走群众路线有机地结合起来,拓宽了民主监督渠道,提高了发展党员工作的公开化、民主化的程度和透明度。通过一年多的运作,效果显著,产生了良好的社会反响。
