The role of genes greatest In the past, many of the characteristics of human beings are always regarded as the result of childhood rearing and environmental impacts. Now, with new gene research, clinical observations, studies of identical twins and adopted children, we are increasingly aware that these traits are rooted in the matrix of genes. The question is, how does one’s personality relate to one’s personal life experience?
