杂交水稻在我省沿淮及淮北地区作单季中稻栽培,经近年试种、示范和推广,增产效果显著.在较好的大田生产条件下,亩产一般可达千斤左右,比同样栽培条件下多本栽插的中籼南京十一号、珍珠矮等常规中稻品种增产2—3成. 杂交水稻具有强大的分蘖能力,这是杂种优势的一个重要表现.据大田调查,在亩栽1.5—2.0万穴,单本栽插条件下,亩产千斤左右的杂交中稻,单株分蘖一般可达15~18个,分蘖成穗率通常为60~70%,每亩有效穗18—22万,分蘖穗占全田总穗数的比重在80%以上,主要依靠分蘖成穗.因此,研究和掌握大田生产条件下杂交中稻的分蘖特点及其合理利用问题,对制定育秧方案、安排栽插密度和运用肥促水控等栽培措施都有重要的指导意义.
