大学英语教学担负着提高学生英语综合能力的重任,而阅读能力是英语综合能力的重要组成部分。大学是一个自主学习的阶段,大学生也都有一定的阅读基础和能力。虽然大学英语阅读教学在整个英语教学中的地位不容忽视,但当今大学英语阅读教学现状却不尽如人意。本文结合调研实践,就大学英语阅读教学的基本过程、方法及当中存在的问题做了分析,并尝试提出相应的教学方法。
College English teaching plays an important role in improving students’ English comprehensive ability, and reading ability is an important part of English comprehensive ability. University is an independent learning stage, college students also have some basic reading skills. Although the status of college English reading teaching in English teaching can not be ignored, the status quo of college English reading teaching is not satisfactory. Based on the research practice, this article analyzes the basic process and method of college English reading teaching and some existing problems, and tries to put forward corresponding teaching methods.
