March 25, 2000, I transferred from Beijing to Shanghai Second Military Medical University, served as vice president. When I came to school, only 28 elective courses in humanities and social science classes were set up in the entire school. It was indeed difficult to meet the students’ thirst for knowledge. I started to talk about the philatelic classes. I think that if China wants to develop stamp collecting, it must also start with popularization and start from young people. To popularize philately knowledge, expand philatelic teams and make college students interested, how powerful is it? Class is one of the best ways to promote philately. Even if the students do not collect stamps in the future, there is also a hundred benefits for them to broaden their knowledge, inherit their national culture and enhance their humanistic qualities.
