刘江,名拂庵,号湖岸,单字一个江。1926个7月1日生于四川万县(今重庆万州)孙家乡桐梓湾。1945年考入因战乱而迁至重庆的国立艺术专科学校,后毕业留浙江美术学院任教。任浙江美术学院(现改为中国美术学院)中国画系党支部书记、教授、研究生导师,西泠印社副社长,中国书法家协会常务理事,浙江省书法家协会顾问,日本国阜单女子大学教授等。刘江先生的一生,见证了当代中国高等书法教育的起步、发展、壮大、繁荣昌盛的历程。2003年11月17日,值“西泠印社百年华诞”、“中国美术学院建院75周年暨书法专业成立40周年”喜庆之际,笔者被邀赴湖上参加了如上庆祝活动。11月20日,“中国美术学院建院75周年暨书法专业成立40周年”庆祝大会后,在刘江先生的书房,笔者就中国美术学院书法专业教学,刘江先生的艺术创作,当代书法、篆刻创作倾向等方面的问题,请教、采访了刘江先生。本刊编发了访谈的大部分内容,与读者共享。(本刊记者,简称记,刘江先生简称刘)
Liu Jiang, name Fu Temple, No. Lake shore, a word of a river. 1926 July 1 was born in Sichuan Wanxian (now Chongqing Wanzhou) Tongzi Bay Sun hometown. In 1945 admitted because of the war and moved to Chongqing National Art College, after graduating from Zhejiang Fine Arts Academy. Any of Zhejiang Academy of Fine Arts (now renamed the China Academy of Art) Chinese painting department branch secretary, professor, graduate tutor, vice president of Xiling Yinshe Club, standing director of China Calligraphers Association, consultant Zhejiang Calligraphers Association, Japan’s Fu Shan women University professors and so on. Mr. Liu Jiang’s life has witnessed the beginning, development, growth and prosperity of the contemporary Chinese higher calligraphy education. On November 17, 2003, on the occasion of the celebration of the “100th birthday of the Xiling Seal Engravings Society,” and the “40th anniversary of the founding of the China Academy of Art and the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese Calligraphy,” I was invited to participate in the above celebrations on the lake. On November 20, after the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of China Academy of Art and the 40th anniversary of the founding of calligraphy, in the study of Mr. Liu Jiang, the author studied the teaching of calligraphy in the China Academy of Art, the artistic creation of Mr. Liu Jiang, contemporary calligraphy, Seal cutting tendency and other issues, ask, interviewed Mr. Liu Jiang.
