The Fifth Seminar on Health Economics in the Six South Provinces (Districts) was held on December 10-13, 1991 in Wuchang, Hubei Province. A total of 65 representatives attended the conference and 59 papers were exchanged at the meeting. Comrade Cai Renhua, deputy director of the Department of Policies and Regulations of the Ministry of Health, arrived in Seoul to attend the meeting and gave a speech on issues such as the basic point of health development in China in the 1990s, the characteristics of China’s health care, and the idea of deepening health reform.
