据《澳门日报》报道,由于经济不景气,台湾岛内各产业的经营都很困难,经营不善、恶性倒闭的事件频传,使劳资双方的争议事件增多。据台“劳委会”统计,1999年岛内劳资纠纷争议事件多达5500件,比1998年增加1500件,创下13年来的新高。岛内劳资争议纠纷事件中,超过50%是属于雇佣关系不明确及解聘员工时遣散契约的争议,其次是拖欠工资和工伤事故引发的。
