我们以无比兴奋的心情参加了全国人民代表大会第三届首次会议。作为护理工作者,能亲眼见到我们最敬爱的领袖毛主席,能跟党和国家的领导人、各行各业的专家们以及各个生产战线上的劳动模范们共济一堂,讨论国家的大政方针和选举国家的领导人,感到万分的激动和荣幸。这个事实充分证明了党对护理工作的重视,证明了解放后护士的政治地位已经大大提高。这不仅是我们五个人的光荣,也是全国三十多万护理工作者的光荣。
We participated in the first session of the third session of the National People’s Congress with immense excitement. As care workers, we can see our most respected leader Chairman Mao. Together with leaders of the Party and the country, experts from all walks of life, and model workers on all production fronts, we can discuss the country’s major policies. And the leaders of the election countries are extremely excited and honored. This fact fully proves the Party’s emphasis on nursing work and proves that the post-liberation nurse’s political status has greatly improved. This is not only the glory of our five people, but also the glory of more than 300,000 nursing workers across the country.
