Shanghai Glass Machinery Factory was formerly the Shanghai Steel Window Factory. In 1930, it ordered steel window materials from Luxembourg to process finished products, which was the beginning of the domestic steel window industry. Afterwards, it imported window materials to Belgium to make steel windows. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, the domestic iron and steel industry made reference to the Belgium window material standard, and successfully rolled the window material to get rid of the dependence on imports and promoted the development of the steel window industry. After the liberation of Shanghai, Shanghai Steel Window Factory was developed. In 1955, it was absorbed into the Zhenchang Steel Window Factory. The scale of production was expanded and the variety was increasing.
