品种来源:原名忻春矮16号。省农科院玉米所年用墨麦赛洛斯作母本,京红5号作父本杂交,经一年多代异地育成。特征特性:春性,中早熟。幼苗生长健壮,叶色深绿,分蘖力适中,成穗率高。株高80—85厘米,茎秆粗壮,抗倒伏力强。穗纺锤形,长芒、白壳、红粒,灌浆快,落黄好,抗干热风能力强,千粒重35克左右,粒重比较稳定。抗冻、抗旱性中等,较抗黄矮病。对条中19和21号免疫,中感条中17号,感染白粉病和叶枯病。产量表现:1978和1979两年参加北部春
