同志们:今年,是党的十一届三中全会召开二十周年,也是中国改革开放二十周年,这是中国人值得纪念、永远铭记的日子。我们纪念党的十一届三中全会二十周年,庆祝中国改革开放二十周年,最重要的,是总结二十年改革开放的宝贵经验,继续发扬伟大的改革精神,在已有的基础上,增创经济体制的新优势,力争广州经济更上一层楼,用广州改革与发展的实例进一步证明,中国共产党领导的社会主义事业是辉煌灿烂的,其前景是无限美好,充满希望的。
Comrades: This year marks the twentieth anniversary of the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee and also the twentieth anniversary of China’s reform and opening up. This is a day worth remembering and always bearing in mind the Chinese people.
