Nowadays, with the continuous deepening of China’s education reform and the increasingly global economic development, its importance has been increasingly raised. Compared with the urban middle schools, the middle school students in rural areas, especially those in the backward areas of western China, generally have this phenomenon in English learning such as: repetition, listening and speaking, poor oral communication and so on. To this end, the article on rural middle school students to develop their oral English ability to find the appropriate solution to the problem, thereby enhancing the rural middle school students’ oral ability. This article analyzes the cultivation of rural middle school students’ oral English ability, briefly outlines the existence of non-English language environment, middle school English teaching and exam-oriented education
