有些实验要在一定温度下进行,所以要一套恒温装置。在恒温装置中附有温度调节器。目前这种温度调节器在实验室中,一般所能见到的它的工作原理多是利用金属的冷缩热胀来直接或间接启闭电热器电源,从而达到调整温度的目的。但这样的温度调节器构造比较复杂,做一个十分困难。最近作者利用气体的冷缩热胀的性能,设计了一个温度调节器,它的灵敏度从理论上远比上述用金属做的灵敏,从实际使用效果上看也很好。而且构造十分简单,所用材料在实验室里一般都可信手拿到。现将它的一般装置介绍如下:
