2005年8月30日,中国观赏石协会在京成立,翻开了中华赏石文化发展的新篇章。成立伊始,中国观赏石协会即积极筹划创办一份旨在“弘扬中华观赏石文化艺术,保存中国观赏石艺术瑰宝,挖掘中华观赏石文化内涵,指导中华观赏石文化理论研究、保存、收藏、继承、传播工作,引导观赏石资源合理开发、利用和保护,繁荣观赏石文化艺术,推动中国观赏石文化发展,促进社会主义物质文明、精神文明建设”的专业性的观赏石刊物。
August 30, 2005, China Ornamental Association was established in Beijing, opened a new chapter in the Chinese culture of stone appreciation.
