Standardization of Hawthorn Quality Standards The research of the 9th Five-Year National Key Scientific and Technological Project, Hawthorn Quality Standards, was successfully completed by Yang Shubin, a researcher from the Shandong Institute of Chinese Medicine. The study confirmed for the first time that the chemical components hyperin and ursolic acid in hawthorn can effectively lower blood lipids, and tannic acid can significantly increase stomach eggs.
