不久前,《解放军报》报道了青岛警备区船运大队长宋景东科学带兵的一件事:一次,这个单位接到上级紧急命令,迅速组织百余人突击队抗洪抢险、营救群众。部队集合后,宋景东高声宣布:“会游泳的站前排!”听到此,大家愣了一下,但三名不会游泳的党员和三个女干部也站在了第一排。宋景东瞪圆了眼睛,“我们军人不怕牺牲,但不能作无谓牺牲,女同志和不会游泳的同志一律留守待命,谁违反军纪惩处。”经过十几小时激战,该大队转移、抢救群众800余人,突击队员无一人伤亡。
