谁都承认，２１世纪将是一个科技竞争更加激烈的世纪．竞争靠科技，科技靠人才，人才靠教育．把“科教兴国”定为我们的国策也有好几年了．倡导科教兴国需要有投资，需要各级领导乃至全民认识科技的价值，需要有教育优先的意识．这些问题无疑都是非常重要的，但本文不想涉及．
Everyone admits that the 21st century will be a fiercer and more technologically competitive century. The competition depends on science and technology, science and technology depends on talent, and talent depends on education.
