In Dude’s “Last Lesson”, my teaching aims are: to learn the first person’s tactics in this article, to describe the character’s image through the depiction of the characters’ language and psychological activities, and to educate students on patriotism. To this end, I designed this classroom practice from the students’ actual conditions: When the young Francis finished the “Last Lesson”, he came to the front of the bulletin board and approached the Prussian soldiers.... What do you think? What to say? What to do? Ask to dictate in the first person. When students saw this exercise, they actively engaged in thinking activities. Four minutes later, the students raised their hands and asked to speak. The first speaker was Wang Ning, and he said: “After that, everyone went silent and walked outside the yard. I looked back at Mr. Hamel’s yard—the place where he finished his last lesson. Several pigeons on the roof flew up, and after a few laps they flew in the distance, as if it were like Mr. Hamel, to leave this place for a long time.
