江泽民同志指出:“小平同志关于教育的一系列论述,是我党制定新时期教育方针政策的理论基础,为教育改革和发展指明了方向,提供了强大的思想武器,全党同志特别是各级领导干部在学习邓小平建设有中国特色的社会主义理论中,要认真领会邓小平同志的教育思想,要像邓小平同志那样从战略高度重视教育,促进教育的改革和发展。”(《在全国教育工作会议上的讲话》)江泽民同志的这一段话,恰如其分地指出了学习邓小平教育思想的重要性和必要性,我们从事成人教育工作的同志,为加速有中国特色的社会主义现代化的建设进程,必须以邓小平同志的教育思想为指针,搞好成人教育。本文拟从三个方面对此试加阐述。

Comrades throughout the party, especially those at all levels In studying Deng Xiaoping’s theory of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, leading cadres should conscientiously understand Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s educational thinking and attach great importance to education and promote the reform and development of education as Deng Xiaoping has done. ”(In the National Education Working Conference This speech of Comrade Jiang Zemin aptly pointed out the importance and necessity of studying Deng Xiaoping’s educational thinking. To speed up the process of building socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics, our comrades engaged in adult education must give priority to Comrade Deng Xiaoping’s educational thinking as a guideline, do a good job of adult education. This article intends to elaborate on this from three aspects.
