培养兼具专业知识与英语应用能力的复合型人才是当今教育界的一大主题。本文分析了专业全英文课程与高校其他英语课程之间的关系,论述了开设专业全英文课程的必要性,根据开设《轨道交通工程》全英文课程的实践经验,从教材选择、课程内容、课堂形式等方面为工科专业开设全英文专业课程提供了借鉴,并针对现阶段专业全英语课程面临的主要问题提出了建议。
It is a major theme of today’s educational community to develop a composite talent that combines both professional knowledge and English language ability. This paper analyzes the relationship between professional English courses and other English courses in colleges and universities and discusses the necessity of setting up a full English course. According to the practical experience of setting up the English course of “Rail Transit Engineering”, from the selection of teaching materials, course contents, Forms and so on. It provides reference for the setting up of English majors in engineering major and offers some suggestions on the major problems facing the current major English majors.
