潴育性水稻土(在合肥地区俗称白土)的组織可分为团聚組織和非团聚組織二个部分。借300W亮度的透射光源,在500倍以上的視野中,观察3—5微米厚度的切片,发現它的組織基本是由大量0.7—0.9微米直径大小的棒形土粒以頂端互相联結而形成的定向排列土鏈。潞育性水稻土的组織反应說明,在土层中粘粒漂洗过程引起鉄貭的分离、聚积和淋溶作用。此外,潴育性水稻土中澄性与結皮的特性,也可能受定向排列的粘土的影响。
