城乡二元对立是台湾电影几十年来发展的一条明显的叙事脉络,其背后包含了政治、经济、文化等多方面的原因。本文将导演身份作为研究视角,选取李行、侯孝贤、杨德昌、蔡明亮四位不同世代的台湾导演来探讨台湾电影中关于城乡书写的面貌、立场、态度与导演个体身份之间的关系,从而能够更加辩证地看待台湾电影创作中的价值立场问题。
The dual opposition between urban and rural areas is an obvious narrative context for the development of Taiwanese movies over the past decades. Behind this is the political, economic and cultural reasons. This article takes the director’s identity as a research perspective, and selects four different generations of Taiwanese directors from Li Hang, Hou Hsiao-hsien, Yang Tak-chang and Tsai Ming-liang to discuss the relationship between the appearance, position and attitude of urban and rural writing in Taiwanese movies and the director’s individual identity, Put more dialectics on the issue of the value position in Taiwan’s filmmaking.
