一、川南星的加工方法南星俗称“蛇包谷”,为野生草本植物,多生于山林陰湿地方。莖高尺余,有暗褐色班点,叶掌狀复生如鳥足,莖下結扁圓形塊狀物即是南星,莖即自其臍中生出。挖掘時間宜在农历六至八月。挖来后即洗去泥沙,用竹刀輕輕括去外層黑皮,挖去其臍,放溫水中洗去游衣,瀝干后于烈日下晒或用無烟火炕干,即成白色的生南星。干后不久必須再晒二、三日使里面干透,再以篾簍装,置高燥通風处,並須随时檢查翻晒,以免受潮变色。品質以个大,全干,色白为佳。再將已干的生南星泡水中二、三日另換新水,再泡二、三日后再換新水至透心后放入百分之十的石灰,再
