民族特色是少数民族绘画艺术形式和其他绘画艺术形式区别开来的根本原因,民族属性是民族绘画艺术的基本属性,为民族服务是民族绘画艺术发展的基本立足点,因此,虽然民族绘画艺术形式多样,但是从顶层来看,各种民族绘画艺术形式的现代发展都需要从保留民族思想智慧、坚持民族风格、结合时代创新三个方面来发展。
