文化与语言密不可分,虽然了解目的语文化早已被视为第二语言教学的终极目标之一,但如何将文化教学融入语言教学当中还有极大的研究空间。本文首先简要介绍文化在全球外语教学中的地位,然后,在介绍澳大利亚汉语教育概况的基础上,着重探讨海外汉语教学中的文化因素、澳大利亚汉语课堂中的文化教学策略及其对学习者的影响。研究发现,教师有意识的显性文化教学能更有效地提高成年学习者的文化意识,激发其学习动机,有助于学生掌握词汇、语用等富有中国文化特色的语言成分,而寓教于乐的社会文化活动则更受中小学生的喜爱。文章建议突出汉外语言文化对比的显性文化教学和突出文化差异的任务型设计及教学互动应被纳入国际汉语教师师资培训的内容。
Culture and language are inseparable. Although understanding the target language culture has long been regarded as one of the ultimate goals of second language teaching, there is still much room for research on how to integrate culture teaching into language teaching. This article first briefly introduces the status of culture in global foreign language teaching. Then, based on the introduction of the general situation of Chinese education in Australia, it focuses on the cultural factors in overseas Chinese teaching, the cultural teaching strategies in Australian Chinese class and its impact on learners . The study found that teachers’ explicit dominant culture teaching can effectively enhance the adult learners’cultural awareness, stimulate their motivation to learn, help students to master vocabulary and pragmatics and other Chinese cultural characteristics of the language components, and entertaining Social and cultural activities are more loved by primary and secondary students. The paper suggests that the task-based design and teaching interaction that highlight the cultural contrast between Chinese and foreign languages and cultures and highlight the cultural differences should be included in the training of teachers of international Chinese language.
