In the 70 years after the war, the mainland’s understanding of the history of the war of resistances has gone from a biased to an objective one. However, based on consistent and highly consistent affirmations of the history of the entire society against Japan, this path of understanding is generally clear on the whole. Therefore, the mainland’s anti-Japanese literary creation and research have always flourished. Taiwan’s understanding of the history of anti-Japanese war shows that the twists and turns in the course of its development are numerous and varied. Prior to the “solstice”, the Kuomintang followed the orthodox view of history and the anti-Japanese literary creation and research once prospered. In the past two or three decades, due to the growing strength of the local forces, Taiwan literary world has been dominated by many local literary critics. In the noisy clamor of the pro-Japanese dialogue, whether it is “anti-Japanese” literature that reflects Japan’s colonial rule over Taiwan, The “anti-Japanese war” literature that represented the Kuomintang struggling for eight years on the mainland has disappeared.
