为迎接我們伟大祖国——中华人民共和国建国十周年,本刊以“在祖国各民族大家庭中”为题,广泛地向各民族的同志恳切征文。解放以来,在中共产党的英明领导和党的民族政策的光輝照耀下,我們国策实現了空前的統一和各民族的大团結。经过将近十年的社会主义革命和社会主义建设,我国絕大多数的少数民族从不同的历史发展阶段进入了社会主义。1958年以来我国生产建设事业的全面大跃进,更使得各民族地区飞快地改变着原来的又穷又白的面貌,呈现了欣欣向荣的气象。各少数民族人民都在为祖国的社会主义建設而忘我地奋斗。随着人們社会主义和共产主义觉悟的提高,民族主义的被批判,我国各民族间一律平等、亲密团結、互助合作、共同发展的社会主义的民族关系迅速地发展和巩固起来了。在短短的几年中間,我国在解决民族问题方面所获得的伟大成就,在历史上是空前的。它是我們党的胜利、我国人民的胜利和馬克思列宁主义胜利的一个重要的方面,它具有深刻的历史意义。我們征文的目的,就是要在本刊开辟一个园地,来反映这方面激奋人心的成就,让各民族的同志为党、为祖国。为人民而纵情歌頌,并鼓舞各民族人民高举社会主义和共产主义的紅旗胜利前进。
