盘尾丝虫是非洲和美洲热带地区一种重要的寄生虫,它通常寄生在家畜和野生动物体内,少数蚋和库蚊可作为其传播媒介,人类也能感染盘尾丝虫。本文报道的病例来自欧洲巴尔干半岛地区。
Onchocerciasis is an important parasite in the tropics of Africa and the Americas. It is usually parasitized in livestock and wildlife, with a small number of mosquitos and Culex pipiens as its vectors, and humans also infect onchocerciasis. The cases reported here come from the Balkans in Europe.
