蒙古族文化是游牧文化的历史集大成者,一方面是蒙古族文化浓缩了自匈奴以来所形成的、以游牧为基础的草原文化的所有基本要素;另一方面蒙古族文化的形成是草原文化发展到特定历史阶段的必然结果,是草原文化逻辑进程的延续。特定的历史造就了蒙古族特有的文化,特有的文化又成就了蒙古族腰带丰富和独特的功能,使其具有丰富的文化内涵。
