最近,丹麦Novo研究所的Jφrgensen等报道,他们在提取猪胰岛素的过程中又发现一种新的激素。这种激素具有很强地抑制胃肠运动的作用,因而称为胰解痉肽(pancreatic spasmolytic polypeptide,PSP)。他们指出,PSP是一种含有106个氨基酸残基的大分子多肽,分子量约11,700。用放射免疫测定方法对猪的22种器官提取物进行测定时发现,只有胰腺组织才含有PSP的免疫反应性(IR-PSP),含量约为0.1meq/g湿重。猪的空腹血浆IR-PSP约为10neq/ml。禁食时的猪胰液IR-PSP为0.2μeq/ml,而在用CCK或促胰液素刺激后的胰液中升至46~116μeq/ml。胰液中IR-PSP的含量与胰液中的总蛋白量呈正相关关系。
Recently, Jørgensen et al. At Novo Institute in Denmark reported that they found a new hormone in the process of extracting porcine insulin. This hormone has a strong inhibitory effect on gastrointestinal motility and is therefore called pancreatic spasmolytic polypeptide (PSP). They point out that PSP is a macromolecular polypeptide containing 106 amino acid residues and has a molecular weight of about 11,700. Twenty-two organ extracts of pigs were determined by radioimmunoassay and found that only pancreatic tissue contained immunoreactivity (IR-PSP) of PSP at a level of about 0.1 meq / g wet weight. Fasting plasma IR-PSP in pigs is approximately 10 neq / ml. IR-PSP was 0.2 μeq / ml for fasted pancreas and 46 to 116 μeq / ml for pancreatic juice stimulated with CCK or secretin. The content of IR-PSP in pancreatic juice was positively correlated with the amount of total protein in pancreatic juice.
