在各城市建设智慧交通的过程中,将产生越来越多的视频监控、卡口电警、路况信息、管控信息、营运信息、GPS定位信息、RFID识别信息等数据,每天产生的数据量可以达到PB级别,并且呈现指数级增长。如此众多的数据,如果可以对其进行深入挖掘,将给社会治安、刑侦、应急指挥、反恐等带来非常大的实用价值,如可以把MAC信息与车辆进行关联碰撞,或根据RFID信息的提取从而获取人的位置信息,为案件的侦破带来更加可靠的应用。因此,大数据应用在现在城市管理中扮演着越来越重要的角色,是智慧城市不可分割的一部分。
