现如今,随着教育的不断改革,对学生的英语能力要求也越来越高。尤其是在初中阶段,英语教学不仅仅是对词汇量有着较高的要求,同时也是对学生单词之间的转换,语法的活用以及阅读能力方面的综合能力上的要求。而英语阅读往往是学生的拦路虎,阅读是对学生的综合能力方面的考察,在中考和高考中占据较大的比重。最重要的是,好的阅读方法和较强的英语阅读能力对学生今后走向社会也起着至关重要的地位。作为一名英语教师,我认为要不断改良英语阅读教学方案,选择适合于学生的方法,提高学生的英语阅读能力。
Nowadays, with the continuous reform of education, students’ English proficiency requirements are also getting higher and higher. Especially in junior middle school, English teaching not only has higher requirements on vocabulary quantity, but also comprehensive ability requirements on the conversion of students’ words, grammar utilization and reading ability. English reading is often a stumbling block for students. Reading is an examination of students’ comprehensive abilities, occupying a large proportion of senior high school entrance exams and college entrance exams. Most importantly, a good reading method and a strong reading ability in English also play a crucial role in the future of students. As an English teacher, I think it is necessary to continuously improve English reading teaching programs, choose suitable methods for students and improve students’ English reading ability.
