一、国外塑料复合钢板的诞生与发展近些年来,提高钢板抗腐蚀能力的表面处理技术得到了极其迅速的发展,塑料复合钢板的诞生是这一发展过程中的重大成果之一。塑料复合钢板是以普通钢板为基体,复以聚氯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚氟乙烯或聚酯树脂,使之成为兼有两种材料的特性,而又在很大程度上避免了两者在单独使用时的缺点的新型工业材料。早在第二次世界大战期间,德国由于严重缺锡而使镀锡钢板的供应发生困难,为了挽救这一危机,曾尝试过塑料涂层钢板的试验,但并未达到工业生产水平。1950年以后,美国有关橡胶与钢铁公司先后进行了各种试验
