雷渊利,现年55岁,原任湖南省郴州市副市长,兼任市住房公积金管理委员会主任,曾任郴州市苏仙区区委书记、永兴县县委书记。2006年9月4日被长沙市中级人民法院一审以受贿罪、挪用公款罪和贪污罪判处死刑,缓期2年执行。2007年12月25日被湖南省高级人民法院终审以有重大立功表现判处有期徒刑20年,现在湖南省某监狱服刑。雷渊利因玩权玩情玩法,走上了一条不归路。日前,在高墙电网内,他对自己犯下的罪行进行了深刻忏悔,回顾了自己从一个受人尊敬的副厅级干部堕落为阶下囚的经过,并对自己走向犯罪的原因进行了深刻反思。
